If he invites you to join him for a cup of tea, do it. The shrine is surrounded by a spacious courtyard.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The beauty of the temple is the most evident in the evening when the lights of the temple attract the attention of passers-by.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The mausoleum of Mir Muhammad is also part of the complex. The gardens, mansions, tombs all laced with intricate details of remarkable history.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Do not hesitate to talk to locals, especially youths. It was built of brick, limestone, and chalk, and as such it\u2019s one of the most beautiful in Iran.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">It\u2019s going to be a little bit difficult to focus on merchandise that\u2019s being sold here when there\u2019s so much history around!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The bazaar has beautiful courtyards, bathhouses and old shops. The mosque was restored in the 19<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0century during the Qajar period.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The mosque is an architectural jewel \u2013 it simply amazes the viewer with its size and art.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">There\u2019s a large courtyard with a pool in front of the mosque, which even more emphasises its beauty.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The entrance gates are decorated with colourful tiles in floral-shape patterns. Some sources show that the gardens were built between 11th-14th century during the rule of Seljuk Dynasty, and were later restored by the Zand Dynasty.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left; font-family: helvetica neue,helvetica,arial,sans-serif!Important;\">Today, the Eram garden is part of the Shiraz Botanical Garden which was established in 1983. The botanical garden is run by the Shiraz University and it\u2019s listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left; font-family: helvetica neue,helvetica,arial,sans-serif!Important;\">Eram is Persian for Arabic word \u2018Iram\u2019 which translates to heaven in Islam\u2019s holy book Quran.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left; font-family: helvetica neue,helvetica,arial,sans-serif!Important;\">With its beautiful flowers and trees that date back to 3000 years ago, it\u2019s no surprise why the gardens wear this name.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Mohammad Qoli Khan, a Qashqai tribal chief, commissioned the construction of the beautiful mansion, which takes the central part of the garden.
