Just wanted to let you know about Hamadan.<\/p>\n

What a history, and how much to see.<\/p>\n

Just imagine walking through the history books.<\/p>\n

Hamadan is a city going back three thousand years blended with the modern society, amazing natural beauties.<\/p>\n

This Iranian province is filled with rivers, natural spring waters, ski resorts, and many historical sites.<\/p>\n

Shall we start by introducing some of these must see places.<\/p>\n

The Gamasiab River:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

which is one of the longest running river in Iran.<\/p>\n

Hamadan province encompasses 19 thousand square kilometers.<\/p>\n

The neighboring provinces are<\/p>\n

To the North Zanjan, to the east Central Province, to the South is Lorestan, and to the west is Kermanshah, and Kurdistan.<\/p>\n

Hamadan city, Malayer ,Tooseerkan, Nahavand, Kabdaraahang, Asadabad, Saman, Sarkan, Lalijeen, ana Maryeanj.<\/p>\n

Hamadan is believed to be among the oldest Iranian cities.<\/p>\n

The special nature of this old city and its historic sites attract tourists during the summer to this city, located approximately 360 kilometers (220 miles) southwest of Tehran.<\/p>\n

Two of the old neighborhoods, Ghashogh Trashan, and Hakeemkhaneh which attract thousands visitors every year.<\/p>\n

Other natural attractions are, Ganjnameh waterfalls, Gharehchaei River, Alisadr Cave, Hezen Cave, Zena Valley, and Hell Valley.<\/p>\n

Alisadr Cave is one of the longest water Cave in the world.<\/p>\n

The entrance to the Alisadr Cave is through a canoe ride which takes few hours for the whole ride.<\/p>\n

During your ride you will see many picturesque design which was created over time through natural sedimentation process which you will not forget.<\/p>\n

The temperature inside the Cave is around 20C.<\/p>\n

The lake water inside the cave is so clear that you can see objects 10 meter deep with the naked eye.<\/p>\n

The Alisadr Cave is located 75 kilometers Northwest of Hamadan.<\/p>\n

The stone lion of Hamadan is a historical monument in Hamadan, Iran.<\/p>\n

The stone lion \u2013 one part of the ‘Lions’ Gate’ \u2013 sits on a hill where a Parthian<\/a>-era cemetery is said to have been located.<\/p>\n

When first built, this statue had a twin counterpart for which they both constituted the old gate of the city.<\/p>\n

During the Islamic conquest of Persia, the victorious Arabs referred to the gate as b\u00e2b ul-asad.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hamadan\u2019s are famous for their handy crafts, ceramics, and leather goods.<\/p>\n

Do not forget to taste some of the delicious local foods. Hamadan is famous for its Barley soup, eggplant soup.<\/p>\n
